WRITING AN
OPINION ESSAY
An opinion
essay needs certain things, like the introduction, 1,2,3 paragraphs, and at the
end what you need is a conclusion. Only to refresh your mind we posted some
examples.
Introduction- there has been a debate
about whether should parents help kids with homework. In my opinion parents
should help kids with their homework.
Conclusion- Now you can see why
helping kids with homework is such an important thing. Parents please remember
that kids will be more than happy to show the teacher their perfect homework
assignments!
An opinion essay also contains your opinion about something;
it is supported with facts, details, and examples to help the readers
understand.
The
following topics will be about how you feel about thanksgiving, what you’re
thankful for, and why you’re thankful for that. The next essay will be about
how you feel about Christmas, supported with details from your answered
questions.

OPINION ESSAY
Should parents help
kids with homework?
Nowadays kids need a boost.
Sometimes kids can be stressed over homework
because of the fact that they didn't quite get the lesson of the day
after many explanations etc. To begin with, school has become more stressful
and demanding with homework, activities, projects etc.
“Eleven year old Emily had been
stressed for days about her school project: A power point presentation on the
life of J.K Rowling. Busy with swim-team practice and religious school, she
barely had time to work on it. So she was grateful when the night before it was
due, her father swooped in to save her.”
Moreover,
kids are also stressed with after school activities and have barely enough time
to eat. Kids are also really stressed with homework because of the fact that
they needed to leave school early and didn’t have the lesson of the day inside
their minds. Just like when some friends of mine are really stressed with the
homework because they sometimes leave the school early and just don’t know what
to do. Imagine you’re stuck on a graded homework assignment but you were
missing school the day that the teachers are going to teach you the last
questions but you were missing. And I know there’s a solution to that problem
but, what will happen if it was Friday and you need to turn it on Monday OMG!
That’s when you need most of the help from your parents.
In addition, if kids don’t receive
help from their parents, they could get bad grades, still don’t know the
lesson, and come to school with a blank paper.
Last but not least “studies show
that many kids are stressed over school and feel more pressure than ever to do
well.” And again if you don’t help them review , study or do homework how are
they going to learn? So parents please don’t tell them the answers, since you
are not the ones that are going to school, just help them out. Like moms and
dads can point out mistakes, help with projects, and they can also help you out
by finding some information you can use. And soon you’ll see that your child/children
will have magnificent grades.
So should parents help with homework?
I believe yes. Because it is more important than ever to help our children to
succeed. So think about your decision and figure out what side you’re with. The
child being stressed because of the fact that nobody helps him/her with
homework or the fact that your children/child is happily learning from their parents and
finally understand homework. So if you are a parent thank you for
understanding!
